UNIONTOWN, OHIO--Two of the top awards given by the Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association have been selected, Mr. and Ms. OHSBCA Players of the Year.
Darianna 'Dee' Alexander
Alexander is a 6'2 guard-forward who averaged 20.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 4.8 assist this past season, out of Purcell Marian High School in Cincinnati takes home the top award for a second time to cap off a stellar high school basketball career, she is also a three times Ms. Ohio Basketball winner, four times OHSAA State Champion, two-time Ohio Gatorade Player of the Year, McDonald's All-American selection, USA Basketball-FIBA Americas U16 gold medal winner (2023), among other numerous and prestigious awards.

"Dee Alexander being named Ms. OHSBCA, is a testament to her undeniable impact on high school basketball in Ohio," said Ricardo Hill District 16 Director in a press release.
She is committed to the University of Cincinnati Bearcats
Devin Brown
Devin a 6'6 guard from Olentangy Orange High School in Lewis Center, Ohio who averaged 14 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.3 assist this past season, a finalist for Ohio Mr. Basketball, OPSMA Division I Player of the Year, OCC Central District Player of the Year, OHSAA State Champion, named to the All-Central District team.

"Devin has had an outstanding career at Olentangy Orange High School, he is a great leader both on and off the court," said Greg Nossaman Olentangy Liberty Head Coach in press release.
Devin committed to Davidson University on Nov. 13 2024.
