Central Ohio standouts Johnathan Powell and Dailyn Swain make commitments after entering transfer portal

OHIO--Central Ohio basketball standout from Centerville High School Johnathan Powell entered the transfer portal in March from West Virginia and has already committed.

He will be attending the University of North Carolina as reported by On3's Joe Tipton, Powell averaged 8.3 points and 3.1 rebounds this season, Powell was solid from behind the 3-point line hitting 64 shots and leading all freshman in the Big 12 Conference.

Powell a 6'6 shooting guard was a 3-star prospect coming out of high school and will be joining a top 10 recruiting class in Chapel Hill.

Columbus Africentric's Dailyn Swain commits to University of Texas

The 6'7 wingman has left Xavier University after entering the transfer portal and has committed to the University of Texas as reported by On3.

Last season Swain averaged 11.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game, he is considered a skilled inside the arc shooter after finishing his second season at Xavier.

Swain will follow Sean Miller to Texas after signing a 6-year deal, with reports saying Miller will have his staff follow him.
