LOUISVILLE, Ohio--Louisville would not be denied as they walk off a decisive win over West Branch 79-56.
The Leopards come off a tough first half schedule rollover West Branch to improve to 8-4, as the season moves into the latter half and it doesn't get any easier.
Opening up the game the Leopards worked as a team to dominate the quarter going on a 7-0 run forcing West Branch to call a timeout to slow down the runs.
Holding the Warriors from scoring until the 4:20 mark of the first, Tate Aljancic would impose his will scoring 10 of the teams 21 points for the quarter to the Warriors 6.
"Yeah you know our teams been moving the ball really well we been finding the hot hands sometimes its me sometimes its someone else," said Aljancic.
Again Louisville would have a 20 point quarter as all 5 starters would score, with Beau Siegfried pulling up with a hot hand also scoring 14 to finish off the half for the Leopards leading 41-22.
The second half, the well rounded Leopards would begin to press to open up the 3rd quarter creating more offense as West Branch could not contain the hot shooting from Siegfried that keep the ball in the basket with good chemistry.
"You know we been hanging out a lot outside of basketball always wanna keep our bond strong you know I think that's the biggest reason why we play so good together," said Siegfried.

That chemistry is so good that they would find Siegfried open to knock down six 3's to cap off a 30 point night.
West Branch did not have an answer for Louisville as one bright spot would be senior Camden Lang who shot solid from outside the arc landing five 3's with four coming in the first half and finish the game with 23 points respectively.
This game would seem like a tune-up with what is ahead of the Leopards as they embark on teams such as St. Edward, St. Vincent-St. Mary, Richmond Heights and St. Ignatius.
"Tonight obviously came out and did what we had to do but it's nice to have a little bit of a break right now then we have a little bit of a stretch run against St. Ed, St. V, Richmond Heights the whole gamut," said Head Coach Siegfried.
For now the Leopards will relish this win moving forward with a matchup against Archbishop Alter to resume play.
