LOUISVILLE, Ohio--Leopards dominate in front of a packed house over Lakewood St. Edward 67-43.
The Leopards took control early as their defense would prove to be too much for St. Ed creating multiple turnovers leading to a 10-0 run with 5:22 left in the first quarter, St. Ed would not score its first bucket until the 5:07 mark in the quarter from Bryan Vlosich.
Walsh College commit Brayden Gross started the run scoring on two free throws after an early shooting foul, then the run would commence with scoring by Tate Aljancic, knocking down a 3-point shot, and a single steal and score by Beau Siegfried, Louisville would lead 19-10 after one.
"I think I mean all week we just its alot of defense you know four on four, five on five, you know mismatch, were playing four on three's and I think that really pays off whenever we come into the game against a good team," said Gross.
Louisville never got behind in the game finishing the half ahead 28-19, with the duo of Aljancic and Gross leading in points with Devin Bailey adding six off of two three point shots.

The second half would be all Louisville with Gross scoring 6 of 8 points to open the quarter and going on a 10-2 run where St. Ed committed 13 turnovers at this point in the game.
"We played hard on the defensive end and it turned into offense," said Aljancic.
Leopard bench player Avery Andrecjik chipped in 13 for the game with 11 of those coming in the second half of play, making up for Siegfried who didn't show in the score column but contributed in many other ways with steals and assist being a true general on the floor.
A solid showing after a brutal first half of the season that only by the looks of this game, beating a 10 win team as if the Leopards are peaking at the right time.
"We're all about defense here, obviously your going to have an off night shooting," said Head Coach Tom Siegfried.
Louisville will move on to 10-4 heading into a matchup with Marlington then state power Richmond Heights to round out January, St. Edward will regroup falling to 10-5 looking forward to a tough Warrensville Heights team.
