Chioke Bradley, Mansfield Senior long time head football coach steps down

MANSFIELD, Ohio--Mansfield Senior will be looking for another head football coach as Chioke Bradley has notified the Mansfield Athletic Department that he would be stepping down according to the Mansfield Journal.

Bradley had been at the helm for 15 seasons and Mansfield's winningest head coach finishing with an impressive 103-62 record. In those seasons he only had four losing seasons.

He led the Tygers to five Ohio Cardinal Conference championships (2012, 2013, 2015, 2017, most recent as 2023) in his tenure, Ohio Coach of the Year in 2013, two-time Northwest District Coach of the Year.

Bradley is an alum of the school he has currently departed, playing basketball, track and of course football, where it led him to Bowling Green as a 4-year starter before coming back home as head football coach.

Bradley, who has a son that was currently playing for Arizona State as of press time has announced that he will be entering the transfer portal, per social media.
