Hall will leave the program after putting up an (31-20) record, by all regards he did not have a losing season under his regime going 8-5 (2021) in an interim role making the regional semi's.
In December of 2021 he would officially be named head coach for the 2022 season, taking his team to a (6-6) record and a regional semi-final finish, 2023 would be another winning year for Hall as he would lead the Bulldogs to (9-4) finish and another regional semi-final.
2024 he would go 8-5 and perhaps his best team based on talent, acquiring a few kids from the State of Texas, a well rounded backfield, and multiple Division I college recruits.
The only underachieving moment is he would lose to Massillon all four years of his regime, by far the most important game on the Bulldogs regular season schedule.
Statement from Canton City School District
"Coach Hall has been a vital leader of the Mckinley High School Football program for the past four years, guiding the team through a period of significant challenges and transition," said Talbert. "His commitment to the program and the students has been unwavering, and his leadership has been instrumental in helping to rebuild the team when the school and community needed it most."
District officials are moving forward to immediately hire his successor.
