Losing is not traditional for the Flyers as their last defeat came at the hands of New Bremen back in Nov. 6, 2020 as they were playing in the Division VI regional final and their last state title was in 2023.
The Flyers are coached by Tim Goodwin.

Coldwater is no pushover football program holding 7 state football titles spanning back to 2005 and as currently as 2020 and state runner-up in 2021. Currently holding a 9-0 record heading into Friday's matchup, the Cavaliers are coached by Chip Otten.
So by all regards this should be a spectacular showdown of small school football finishing off the 2024 Ohio High School regular season.
