PERRY TOWNSHIP, OH- In high school football kicking field goals is a tough art, most programs will attempt the point after in most cases, field goal kickers may attempt a 25 or 30 yarder depending on kicker experience.

Brock Huggins a senior at Perry High School would help his team to a victory over Uniontown Lake in a week four Federal League matchup in which the Panthers walked away with 17-7 victory.

After Perry failed to get a first down late in the second quarter, they would call on Huggins with 1:23 left to attempt a 50 yard field goal, lining up the kick it would look like a long shot considering high schoolers don't commonly kick 50 yarders, a punt is more in order for this situation as they were up seven in present time.

With senior quarterback Austin Mattox as the holder Huggins would kick the ball as it sailed it was seemly a good kick as he would hit the field goal with more room to go, setting a Perry school record in the process previously held by Caden Basham in 2018 at 44 yards.
