Israel Cribbs suits up at Hoban, son of Josh Cribbs

AKRON, OH- There is another Cribbs in Northeast Ohio, son of former Cleveland Browns player Josh Cribbs, Israel 'Izzy' Cribbs will suit up for Akron Hoban this coming season, listed as class of 2028.

Cribbs played a portion of his football prior to attending Hoban with North Royalton where he starred in football and basketball, according to his Instagram account it looks as if he will be playing quarterback, a pretty sizable kid standing at 5'11.

Hoban a private school powerhouse under the direction of Tim Tyrell has been a force since his arrival 12 seasons ago, winning five OHSAA State Championships, two in Division III (2015, 2016) and three in Division II (2017, 2018, 2020) just last season losing to Massillon in the 2023 campaign.
