CANTON, OH- The Bulldogs team red were dominant in competition at the Kempthorn Kickoff Classic in  Foreverlawn Sports Complex at Hall of Fame Village showing signs of what's to come when the pads and 22 players take the field in less than 40 days as the summer season winds down.

On a hot and muggy Sunday the Bulldogs started out defeating Malvern 33-18 in pool play eventually going 4-0 with one forfeit due to Cincinnati Taft not participating in tournament, Mckinley beat out defending OHSAA Div. IV State Champion Glenville Tarblooders 31-27 also beating St. Vincent St. Mary 21-6 to round out early play.

Opening up the tournament phase of competition Bulldogs would beat out St. Vincent-St. Mary again 26-20, University School 38-6, Glenville 26-21, rounding out the tournament beating the Dan Reardon led Ursuline Irish in a tight game 19-14.
