Referendum Item 1B: 8 girls basketball teams move divisions after approval from OHSAA

Columbus, OH- After the OHSAA passed the Referendum item 1B member schools could request to move to another division for one school year, currently 8 girls basketball programs requested and were approved according to the OHSAA press release.

Team requests that were approved:

• Cincinnati Seton moves to Division I
• Cincinnati Mt. Notre Dame moves to Division I
• Rocky River Magnificat moves to Division I
• Cleveland St. Joseph Academy moves to Division I
• Euclid moves to Division II
• Grove City Central Crossing moves to Division II
• Westerville North moves to Division II
• Cleveland John Marshall moves to Division II         

All member schools had until June 3 to make a formal request.
