Columbus, OH- After the OHSAA passed the Referendum item 1B member schools could request to move to another division for one school year, currently 8 girls basketball programs requested and were approved according to the OHSAA press release.
Team requests that were approved:
- Cincinnati Seton moves to Division I
- Cincinnati Mt. Notre Dame moves to Division I
- Rocky River Magnificat moves to Division I
- Cleveland St. Joseph Academy moves to Division I
- Euclid moves to Division II
- Grove City Central Crossing moves to Division II
- Westerville North moves to Division II
- Cleveland John Marshall moves to Division II
All member schools had until June 3 to make a formal request.
