Current NFL running back Nick Chubb was the guest speaker for the event, who had great advice, eventful moments during his conversation moderated by Akron Beacon Journal sports writer Nate Ulrich.

When asked about his hometown roots in Cedartown, GA, "That's the young poor angry Nick" said Chubb.

"Mom would navigate things for me," Chubb continued to say.

Ulrich also eluded to what or how social media affects today's athlete, "Social Media is a tool that can be used to your advantage," Chubb replied, Since there are things such as NIL's, and an aggressive transfer portal in modern recruitment it makes situations a lot interesting to say the least and social media has a positive and negative affect.

All in all it was a great night to be a high school athlete in the Akron-Canton area and to be an onlooker sitting in the historic Akron Civic Theatre.
