CINCINNATI, OH- Dariani 'Dee' Alexander the nationally ranked junior from Purcell Marian has announced her decision on what University she plans to play at the next level, she is not going far from home as she officially chose the University of Cincinnati according to the Bearcat Journal over proven powerhouses such as UConn, LSU, Ohio State and many more.

"I believe in coach Trina the most, and I feel like she can make a change at the university," said Alexander according to the Bearcat Journal.

The Bearcats finished 14-18 last season under first year head Coach Katrina Merriweather who also acquired the services of this year's McDonald's All-American Chloe Mann  and a few returning players who should make an impact with these two highly sought after recruits.

Dee finished another successful season in her junior year capturing a second Ohio Ms. Basketball and a third OHSAA State Championship, a resume worth the attraction from Power 5 schools, when asked by the Bearcat Journal 'how much have you grown over the past three seasons,' Alexander replied, "It just makes me feel good and I just know that I'll have many more ways to go with that basketball and being a better person."

Now with the decision being made, moving forward to her senior year will have one less question to answer as she will formally suit up for a hometown team in the Bearcats.
