Josiah Harris returns to Ohio and commits to the Zips of Akron

AKRON, OH- Former Stark County and Richmond Heights basketball phenom Josiah Harris leaves the Mountaineers of West Virginia and commits to the University of Akron according to Christopher Hall of Sports Illustrated.

Harris played two seasons for the Mountaineers getting some pretty significant time, this past year he played in all 32 games starting 13 of them, in his freshman year he averaged 6.5 minutes a game playing in 17 total games.

After transferring from Glenoak High School to Richmond Heights he helped Quentin Rogers and company to some pretty deep runs across a couple seasons winning a OHSAA state title in 2022, Richmond Heights has won the last three years.

Also joining Harris is his West Virginia teammates Seth Wilson and James Okonkwo who also opted to go into the transfer portal as well.
