DAYTON, OH- Good players have rough games also, for Dee Alexander she did the first half with 3 fouls but the mighty Purcell held their own against Laurel defeating them 79-52 to capture their third trophy in a row for the mighty Purcell Marion Cavaliers in a moment where this Div. II matchup against two of the young stars in the Ohio high school program would battle to the end.

Purcell has a knack of beating teams in double digits, tonight did not differ as they pulled away early in the second quarter never looking back. Ky'Aira Miller was the bright spot in the game as Dee Alexander battled foul trouble and Coach Mosley played it safe with such a comfortable lead.

Miller accounted for a score in every quarter keeping the foot on the pedal ending with a tied game high of 18 with her teammate Dee Alexander.

"It's just not Dee our girls do a good job of feeding off of her but again we're a team, you had players step up in that first quarter," said Coach Mosley. Alexander also spoke on getting better, "The goal is to get better every day, every practice, every game so it was just, if we knew we got better by the game, by the day, by the practice we knew we would come out on top." said Alexander.

This win brings Head Coach Jamar Mosley total record wins at Purcell Marian at 165 and only 28 losses in a 7 year span who is also the Athletic Director.
