DAYTON, OH- Ottawa-Glandorf will move on to the State Championship game after a well executed game against Portsmouth in the OHSAA Div. III state semi-final.
The Lady Titans would prove to be a bit much after the first quarter after leading only by one going into the second quarter both teams seemed equally matched early after Portsmouth won the tip.
Ottawa-Glandorf would go on a 14 point run in the second quarter with 1:33 left in the half, Portsmouth's would score their first points of the quarter off a foul line jump shot from Sienna Allen and then a layup by Daysha Reid to close out the half scoring on four points Ottawa-Glandorf leading 22-13.
Entering the third quarter the results would be similar as Portsmouth could only score four points but slowed Ottawa-Glandorf down with only seven with Allen and Reid leading the way again.
Ottawa-Glandorf would not be denied even with the scoring of Portsmouth in the fourth quarter giving up a quarter high 23 points to their 18 would hold on to preserve the victory and move on to try and capture the programs first state title.
