DAYTON, OH- It was a first for the Olmstead falls girls basketball program after making the State finals just a year ago, they would complete the task by defeating Springboro 52-45 in front of 5,000 in attendance at University of Dayton Arena.

This game was not one-sided in all Springboro just couldn't get and keep the lead only on 3 lead changes with Olmstead Falls leading over 20 minutes for the game that would prove to be the winning factor doing enough to keep Bryn Martin and Springboro from getting the victory.

Olmstead Falls kept Bryn Martin quiet the first quarter as she didn't score her first points until under one minute, after her 38 point performance to make it to the big dance ultimately ended the game with a game high 22 points.

Danielle Cameron was the bright spot for the Bulldogs as she laid out a stat line of 19 points, 3 assist and 7 rebounds as she scored 9 of the 11 team points in the second quarter going 3 for 7 from the field, 2 for 5 from the 3-point line and making a couple free throws.

For head Coach Jordan Eaton in his ten year tenure over the program this is his top honor after being defeated in the 2023 State championship. Eaton has 186 wins with only 65 losses to his record.
