CINCINNATI, OH- Dee Alexander is something special, winning high school girls basketball's highest honor being named Ohio Ms. Basketball via the OHSAA for a second consecutive season. The Purcell Marian standout junior wingman beat out a few good athletes one considers a stacked class of finalist including the high volume scoring Corri Vermilya, sophomore Sanyiah Hall, Berry Wallace of Pickerington Central respectively.
Alexander has multiple power 5 college offers among others who are requesting her services to play at the next level, UConn, Baylor, Notre Dame, the Dawn Staley led South Carolina gamecocks, Ohio State, Iowa are a few of the 40+ offers from big name schools for a big time student/athlete in Alexander.

The award is voted on by a panel from the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association compiled of over 200+ writers from across the state of Ohio.
Purcell Marian will play Copley in the Div. IV semi-final game slated for a 1pm tip-off on 3/15.
