Art Teynor award presented to South's Jack 'Poochie' Snyder

Art Teynor Award | Presented to top player in Ohio

CANTON TWP, OH- During the Canton South football banquet Jack 'Poochie' Snyder was awarded the Art Teynor award for outstanding athlete in Ohio based on academics, character and athletics. Art Teynor was a former coach at Dover St. Joseph and Tuscarawas Central Catholic respectively to keep his name alive in Ohio High School football. 

Snyder is a multi-sport student/athlete in (Football, Basketball, Baseball) while getting most of his accolades in football leading the Wildcats to a State Semi-final finish this past season, outright Pac-7 conference champion, finalist for Ohio Mr. Football, Canton Repository Player of the Year, WHBC Player of the Year, Stark County's career passing leader all in his senior campaign.

The award is handed out annually by the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association based on the criteria listed above to the top player deemed by the association.

Snyder definitely was exciting and stellar during his time as the signal caller for the Canton South Wildcats.
