DAYTON, OH- The Africentric Nubians came into Dayton Arena with defense and scoring in the paint would seem to be the game plan walking off a 62-35 win over Keystone.
The Nubians defensive prowess kept their opponent from entry passes that would eventually convert to 14 total turnovers for the game converting them into 18 points.
Keystone's biggest lead was 3 points with 7:20 left in first quarter they would never see the lead again only scoring 5 points in the second quarter then 8 in the third it was the beginning of the end for the lady Wildcats.
Coach Janicia Anderson who preaches the standard of playing defense in her system, "They know the expectation and the standard we were repping that every single day in practice so we can come out and execute it just as they did." said Anderson during the press conference.
On the offensive end for the Nubians was Dayton commit Kamryn Grant who finished the night with 22 points and 11 rebounds 1 assist and 1 steal after coming back from and ACL injury, "It felt good to be back on the floor and just being able to run again," she said. She knows the importance of not being able to play, "You never know what you take for granted till its gone." she elaborated.

For the Keystone Wildcats Senior forward Jessica Forthofer her 18 point night would be a game best as no other player scored higher than five points between four other players respectively.
The Nubians go on to play Ottawa-Glandorf for the OHSAA Division III State title Saturday March 16 @ 2pm.
