Heintschel | The Offers Keep Pouring In

OREGON, OH- Mason Heintschel is a highly recruited 6'2" 200 lb. multi-sport (Basketball) quarterback out of Clay High School located in Oregon, OH with multiple offers on the table requesting his services to play at the next level according to 247sports.com~ Mason Heintschel, so far with most coming out of the MAC Conference with one more season to play in high school adding the numbers he has put up we undoubtedly should see more.

University of Pittsburgh is the latest Div. I school to offer Heintschel more than likely coming off the junior year he had, speaking with Mason we talked about his style of offense that would likely fit his skill set,"I believe more of up tempo and spread offense is something that would really fit my skill set and style of play." he said. 

Kent State, Bowling Green, Akron, and the University of Toledo have also offered the sturdy framed signal caller, "I think me being able to make decisions when it comes to option routes and RPO's as well as designed quarterback runs really fits me as a player." he continued saying.

As stated early Heintschel has one more season of high school football he spoke on goals coming into his final year, "I think my biggest goals for my senior year are to just win games, I've really enjoyed the recruiting process and it's been very exciting." he mentioned.

He added, "But my biggest goal for my senior season is to bring my high school a league championship, that's the most important thing to me for sure." Heintschel said.

The Clay Eagles compete in the Three Rivers Athletic Conference a member of the OHSAA formally playing in the Toledo City League, his numbers for his junior year are huge racking up over 3,000 yards and 33 touchdowns for the solid framed kid taking home All-Ohio Honorable mention and League Offensive Player of the Year. 

Mason comes from a lineage of athletes in his family his father was a pitcher at Air Force but ultimately transferring to pitch at the University of Michigan, also a sister who played goalkeeper on the women's soccer team at Ball State University.
