NORTH CANTON, OH- All purpose athlete and dangerous return man senior Mason Ashby will commit to the Div. III Purple Raiders of Mount Union to continue his academic and football career, the small framed wide-receiver and defensive back brings a boat load of talent to a storied program which boasts 34 Ohio Athletic Conference titles, 12 NCAA Div. III Championships and memories of legendary Head Coach Larry Kehres.

Ashby had a tremendous senior season being noted as one of the county's fastest return man, numerous week to week awards also breaking the schools all-time reception record along the way compiling (87) receptions for 700+ yards and 8 touchdowns, as a return man Ashby tallied a couple kickoff return touchdowns adding 350+ return yards with some notable runs from the backfield.

Adding to Mason's athletics he is also a standout baseball player, I would say Mount Union is getting everthing they are bargaining for with the small body big heart Ashby in the fold.
