Glenoak Athlete Avantae Burt Will Begin His Collegiate Career at Central State University

Glenoak Football | Burt Impressed With Visit At Central State

PLAIN TWP, OH- Strong visits and planning go into finding a school that is the right fit for your future of playing collegiate football. That was one of the main reasons Glenoak player Avantae Burt chose to be a Marauder at Central State University, a Div. II School located in Wilberforce, OH playing as a member of the (SIAC) Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference a historically black university (HBCU) of the NCAA. 

Burt stated, "I chose Central State because I love the campus, immediately made me feel at home." Burt elaborated. Something that should be a priority when making big decisions on your future. Burt went on to say, "It's a good program and just feels as if it's the perfect fit for me, the vibes, atmosphere the people around." he said. Also mentioned the coaching staff and his teammates he encountered during visit.

Burt finished his high school football career having been honored multiple times, he earned being named All-Ohio twice in two different positions at wide receiver and running back, 3x All-District, 3x All-Federal league, 1st team All-County, and All-County team MVP and All Inland Div. I 1st team. Also playing multiple positions such as slot receiver, running back, kick-off returner, and safety during his high school career.

Playing his high school career alongside his brother Adrion "Milk" Burt a returning player for Glenoak heading into the '24 season had to be special and a memory that he will never forget moving forward to start his collegiate career at Central State University.
