CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH- Another talented prospect out of the Mac Stephens camp has made his decision to further his football playing career, John Gordon Jr. will showcase his talents at Old Dominican University A Div. II University located in Columbus, Ohio a private member school in the (GMAC) Great Midwest Athletic Conference in the NCAA.

The 5'8 senior was noted as being called "Mr. Heights football" and "Mr. Everything" for his athletic ability to have a nose for the ball and his prowess on defense captured the hearts of many fans in the Cleveland Heights football community. Gordon Jr's senior season was nothing short of spectacular he helped his team to a Greater Cleveland Conference title, first team all-GCC, first team all-district, 2nd team all-state.

Gordon Jr's defensive abilities hit a high ceiling for an athlete that stands 5'8 having the ability to pull down 10 interceptions, 4 touchdowns, 55 total tackles (39 solo, 19 assisted, 1 tackle for loss) in the '23 season.

The Panthers last 3 seasons have been pretty good going 7-4 (4-3) in '21 and getting seven more wins in '22 also going 6-2 in conference play but falling to just a 4-7 (3-6) record in '23 I'm sure defensive coordinator Trent Voss will be pleased with the playmaking blue collar athlete John Gordon Jr.
