Massillon, OH- Massillon Senior linebacker Cody Fair has made his decision on his next stop in his football career making his announcement via "X" that he will verbally commit to the Midshipmen of the Naval Academy a FBS Div. I University in Annapolis, Maryland. Fair according to scoutingohio.com had 11 offers on the table receiving most his junior year from the likes of Robert Morris, Valparaiso, Tiffin, Duquesne, and Ashland just to name a few.

Fair finished off his senior season a OHSAA Div. II State Champion a nice way to cap off his high school career with a season stat line of 82 tackles (44) solo 18 tackle for losses and 5 sacks and numerous individual post season awards including being an 2x-All-Ohio linebacker and carries a cumulative 4.3 GPA the midshipmen are receiving an all-around student/athlete in Fair.
Adding to his football accolades Cody also competes in Wrestling and Track for the Tigers which says alot for a athlete who stays busy for 3 seasons out of the school year and maintains his academic success. Fair officially signed Dec. 19th in the Massillon High School Media Center along with defensive teammates Dorian Pringle (Bowling Green) and Chase Bond (North Carolina State) the Midshipmen play in the NCAA American Athletic Conference.
